Customer Success Engineer “Industry 4.0/IIoT” - Europe (Munich, Germany)

Our digital business is growing, and we are looking for a Customer Success Engineer for the European region.


Your new role:

As a Customer Success Engineer, you will be working with the Norican Group brands and their customers to drive business value using our Monitizer® Cloud platform. You will play a leading role in engaging with customers to help turn their data into value by applying the Monitizer IIoT and AI tools.

You will be part of a global digital team and report directly to the SVP, Head of Norican Digital.

This position can be based remotely in Europe, but regular presence on site at the Norican Digital headquarters in Munich, Germany is required.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Understand our customers’ technical and business requirements to produce project specifications incl. technical architectures, data connection, deployment plans etc.
  • Define and implement the customer solutions incl. data collection, dashboard creation, users onboarding and identifying continuous improvements
  • On site in a production environment, connect production data sources using our gateway-solution and help convert ‘raw-data’ to meaningful ‘smart-data’
  • Engage with customers to ensure positive outcomes and post-sales value
  • Be the local digital leader/owner on projects, responsible for driving customer installations in collaboration with Project Management and Product Experts
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from the four Norican brands, including Product Development, Sales, Project Management and Technical Support teams to resolve technical issues and provide customer feedback
  • Assist with planning, deployment, documentation, and maintenance of our Monitizer solutions

 

Skills & Experience:

  • A degree in Engineering (electrical/industrial/foundry technology) or similar education
  • Work experience as a service, production or process engineer, ideally in the equipment or foundry industry
  • Proactive with outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Good technical knowledge of software solutions such as cloud services, computer networks and IoT protocols like MQTT, OPC -UA.
  • Experience of using Bash and Python scripts as well as working on Linux OS
  • Fast learner that can quickly grasp technological and business value drivers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts or recommendations clearly to customers (across levels)
  • Socially competent and team spirited, ideally with past international exposure
  • Self-driven and highly motivated with a hands-on mentality
  • Passion for driving business value to customers through new digital technologies
  • Good written and verbal English skills
  • Willingness to travel
