Solutions Engineer (IoT Analytics) - DTPL, WTC, Bangalore, India

Norican Group is looking for a Solutions Engineer (IoT Analytics) to onboard our customers onto our Monitizer® cloud platform. You will play a key role in managing the whole data stream from our gateways into our cloud and help customers turn their data into value when applying the Monitizer IIoT and AI tools. 

You will be part of a global digital team that is located in Münich, Germany. 


  • Working on our Monitizer IIoT platform and digital tools to deliver results for our customers,     
  • Assess the customer’s requirement, troubleshoot and diagnose issues in order to solve them,   
  • Implement data interfaces on our edge device to connect external systems,   Technical onboarding and continuous support for customers (internal and external),   
  • Create smart dashboards to visualize meaningful insights for our customers on Monitizer,   
  • Assist the team with planning, deployment, documentation, and maintenance of our Monitizer solutions,     
  • Take responsibility for development and enhancement of the tech stack,     
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Sales, Project Management and Technical Support teams to resolve technical issues and provide customer feedback. 

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum requirement Bachelor’s of Technology in Computer Science/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Electrical Communication/ Electrical Instrumentation. Masters degree is a plus,   
  • 3+ years of experience in software development,     
  • Ability to abstract, with a distinct analytical mindset and a passion dealing with complexities,     
  • Advanced knowledge of creating SQL queries,   
  • Hands-on experience of working in latest programming languages (Python), scripting languages (Bash scripting) and tools (Git) and IoT protocols (such as MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus) and technologies (such as REST API, GraphQL) and Databases (relational as well as time series),     
  • Detailed knowledge of working with Linux and Computer Networks,     
  • Experience in agile development with the ambition to deliver results continuously,   
  • Working experience as a production, process, or plant engineer, ideally in the equipment or foundry industry is a plus,   
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts or recommendations clearly to customers (across levels),     
  • Good written and verbal English skills,   
  • Prepared to occasionally travel internationally.
