I started at Norican’s StrikoWestofen division as a bachelor student over ten years ago. Since then, I’ve written my master’s thesis here, built aluminium melting furnaces as a Project Manager, and, since last July, had the privilege of leading a team of nine amazing people. What makes Norican special to me is the spirit of working together across borders—sharing the tough moments, celebrating the wins, and learning from different cultures along the way. Every project shapes who I am. With its global network and exciting challenges, Norican is a place where you can grow, contribute, and truly belong.
I enjoy working for Norican because I work with a fantastic team of engineers who make each day rewarding. The work is busy in the best way, which means the days go quickly and there’s always something to focus on. Since joining as a Service Co-ordinator, I’ve been promoted to Customer Service Manager, and that progression has made me feel genuinely valued and proud of the journey I’ve had so far.
I enjoy the ability to meet new colleagues from different countries and the help we get to make the team run smooth. In 30 years I’ve met some really knowledgeable and kind people.

I have 20 plus years with the company and working for Norican has been exciting and challenging. After working for the Norican Group for 16 years, I have been pondering what the core values of Norican are. Why was it that throughout the 16-year long history, I was able to consistently maintain my deep love for this company? This sentence has been constantly popping up in my mind: You don't build a business. You build people, and people build the business.
At Wheelabrator, I’m part of the project engineering team, where I design and develop new machines tailored to our customers’ needs. From the first inquiry to final implementation, I enjoy the challenge of complex projects and creating innovative solutions with my team. After starting as a mechanic apprentice, studying mechanical engineering, and completing my MBA, I’ve grown with the company. The variety of work keeps things exciting—and the supportive team spirit makes it even better.
Over nearly 26 years at DISA, I’ve grown from a hands-on Field Service Engineer to a Senior Regional Account Manager, thanks to the trust and opportunities I’ve been given. Along the way, I’ve built strong customer relationships, led incredible teams, and deepened my understanding of the business. What I value most is being part of a company that encourages learning, embraces challenges, and supports personal growth.
