Are you a dynamic sales professional with a passion for driving growth in the metal casting sector? Monitizer is seeking a Business Development Manager to boost our SaaS sales and drive the digital transformation of the metal casting industry. We’re looking for a candidate who can implement an effective sales strategy that expands our reach, strengthens client relationships, and empowers the Norican sales teams.

With a base in Munich and reporting to the SVP and Head of Monitizer, you’ll be instrumental in the success of our digital Monitizer brand, driving the acquisition and sales of our cutting-edge Monitizer® IoT and AI solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and oversee the SaaS sales that prioritizes growth and generates customer interest
  • Drive digital sales success by negotiating contracts with current and potential customers
  • Spot new business opportunities and exploit them to the fullest with both current and new customers
  • Lead customer acquisition and support initiatives for the digital Monitizer products
  • Foster strong, lasting relationships with customers, partners, and management
  • Meet and exceed your sales targets and revenue goals for Monitizer products
  • Guide and train colleagues, representatives, and customers for successful use of our digital solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance Monitizer solutions based on customer and market needs

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven record of sales growth
  • Experience in selling SaaS or cloud-based solutions, with a preference for candidates with experience in the manufacturing, automotive, or metal casting industry
  • Sharp negotiation and networking skills
  • Experience in coordinating and leading sales teams
  • Familiarity with IoT-edge and cloud-based solutions, predictive analytics, and digital solutions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • A dynamic, self-motivated individual with a performance-oriented and customer-focused mindset
  • A passion for business travel and engaging with diverse cultures and personalities
