World speed record
The DISA 231 FAST sets a vertical moulding world record top speed of 555 uncored moulds an hour. But that’s not all. The cored mould capacity has shot up a full 15 per cent from 420 to 485 cored moulds an hour! And still with a machine-related mismatch of just 0.10 mm to keep your trimming and fettling costs to a minimum.
Size also matters
Speed is not all. Size matters too, and the previous choice of four chamber sizes – A, B, C and X – has now been extended with two more, Y and Z, enabling you to produce moulds measuring up to 570 x 750 mm.
Rock-bottom cost per casting
Tried and tested DISA 231 hydraulics, rapid pattern plate changes and low maintenance requirements keep uptime at the same high level. Maximum control over core movements with a core setter enables synchronised handling of difficult cores with the mould cycle at maximum speed to boost throughput. Same size, lower speed
If you do not need the full power of DISA 231 FAST, you may find the DISA 131 FAST an interesting prospect. The DISA 131 offers the same chamber sizes with mould sizes up to 570 x 750 mm, but with a top speed of 350 uncored moulds per hour, while the DISA 131 FAST offers up to 400 uncored moulds per hour.
